Zeynep Arslan Demircik

Zeynep joined the Van Leer Foundation in 2024 as a Programme Administrator. She is responsible for all administrative tasks related to grants and contracts across multiple portfolios.

Prior to this role, she gained more than 10 years of experience working and volunteering in various human rights organisations in Turkey. In her most recent position at a grant-making organisation, she coordinated the grant programme and supported several grassroots organisations focused on gender, youth and disability rights.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and is passionate about contributing to rights-based efforts for a more inclusive world.
