Cristina joined Van Leer Foundation in 2025 as a Junior Accounting Officer. She is responsible for the foundation’s daily financial administration, supports the monthly closing processes, and assists with the annual audit.
Cristina holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration and a master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Erasmus University. Before joining the Foundation, she gained experience in various student-led organizations, where she developed strong organizational, analytical and collaborative skills.
Spanish by origin but shaped by life in Italy, France, and now the Netherlands, Cristina embraces every culture she has called home. Her multicultural background and upbringing in a large family connect deeply to the Foundation’s mission and fuel her commitment to work that supports children and families around the world.
