What is the role of media and social media in the development of young children and their self-esteem, particularly in Africa?
Haby is a French Malian journalist and director. Since April 2021, she has been the Africa Editor-in-Chief at Brut. Haby is also a creative audiovisual content producer and experienced event moderator.
She was formally the Editor-in-Chief of the show Le Chœur des femmes, the first women’s talk show in French-speaking Africa, broadcast on Canal+ Afrique. A position she held after spending nearly ten years covering political and economic news for Jeune Afrique and Le Monde in around ten African countries (Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Ghana, Nigeria, etc.).
A 2010 graduate of Sciences-Po Paris, she was selected in 2016 by the US State Department for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). She is also part of the 2021 class of Young Leaders of the French African Foundation.
