Lila Frisher joined Van Leer Foundation in 2026 as a Mission Related Investments Officer, helping to source and manage investments that seek positive social and environmental impact alongside market-rate financial returns.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Lila studied Sustainable Environmental Design at UC Berkeley and spent over six years working across commercial strategy, business development, and sustainability, including at Fair Trade USA. She later earned her MBA from Rotterdam School of Management and gained impact investing experience across private credit and venture capital.
Based in Rotterdam, Lila is also the Founder of Maas Impact Ventures. Outside work, she enjoys live music, dancing, yoga, and snowboarding.
