Access to data on children in Türkiye: An evaluation based on the Urban95 project experience
This brief surveys the data on children that is available in Türkiye and explains the problems faced by local administrations in collecting more and better data. It suggests practical solutions such as establishing standards for data legibility, establishing data management units and training employees to create a culture of data. Available in Turkish below.
The most fundamental central government agencies that create databases on the services they provide to children are the Ministry of Health; the Ministry of National Education; and the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services.
