Rebecca Plumbley

Executive Assistant to CEO

Rebecca is the Executive Assistant to the CEO. In her role she provides administrative, research, writing and project management support to the CEO – and supports the Board of Trustees and the management team.

Before joining the Foundation, Rebecca spent two years working in hospitality as a restaurant manager in Rotterdam. There she supported the business owners and managed a diverse team to ensure the smooth operation of the business, and high quality food, drinks and service for guests. This is where she learnt to speak Dutch, developed a passion for great coffee and learnt to pour the perfect cappuccino!

Rebecca has a Bachelors in Architectural Studies and a Masters in City and Regional Planning, both from the University of Cape Town.

Originally from Durban, South Africa, Rebecca is now based in Rotterdam. She spends her free time upcycling furniture, cooking, reading and swimming.
