Children of the World: Meet Raghav in India

Meet four-year-old Raghav and immerse yourself in life in Pune, where he knows all his neighbours.

Meet four-year-old Raghav. He lives in the city of Pune with his parents, grandparents and older brother. His dad and grandad work at the fruit market. His favourite drink is sugar cane juice, and every year he looks forward to a family holiday at the beach.

We speak Marathi, but we also communicate in English or Hindi. The inhabitants of Pune are very spiritual and Lord Ganesha, the god with the head of an elephant and the body of a human, is the city’s patron.

This story is part of the ‘Children of the World’ book series, published together with Chilean partner JUNJI (the National Board of Kindergartens).
